National Minimum Wage, National Living Wage, UK Accredited Living Wage
The National Living Wage for employees aged 21 and over is £12.71 per hour from 1 April 2026.
The Council's lowest grade £12.85 per hour (pay award pending from 1 April 2026) is £0.60 less than the current UK accredited Living Wage rate outside of London of £13.45 per hour.
