Vintage Made Modern: Design a Tote Bag
As part of Gateshead Central Library's Centenary celebrations, try out the modern digital version of Fabric dying in our tote bag heat transfer workshop.
Use the programme Canva to create a personalised design connected to Gateshead's past. Use images from our archive, find out more about the history of Gateshead and transfer your finished design to a tote bag. Skills in using a computer mouse to click and drag are essential. Late Arrivals: It will not be possible to join a workshop if you arrive more than 15 minutes late. By this time in a workshop, technical knowledge will have been covered and it won't be possible to go back over this information. Resources: All resources are included in the cost of the ticket for this event. Unless stated otherwise, you do not need to bring anything with you to participate. Mobile Phones: We ask that mobile phones are not used during a workshop. Food and Drink: Only covered beverages are allowed in the MakerPlace, we ask that you keep drinks away from the equipment and computers. No food is to be consumed in the MakerPlace.
