Journey Enterprises

Journey Enterprises provides day services for adults with intellectual (learning) disability.

They provide services which enable adults in their care to develop worn and independent living skills, and to manage their health and wellbeing.

The charity is commissioned by six local authorities and the NHS, and also provides a wide range of specialist programmes funded by charitable foundations. These enable them to offer a much more enriched day service with enhanced resources, specialist staffing such as a doctor leading our health programming, and innovative opportunities for clients.

They have four day centres in the region: Blyth and Hexham, Kenton (Newcastle) and Bishop Auckland. Gateshead residents with intellectual disability currently attend our Hexham and Kenton Hubs.
