Audiology

Gateshead's Audiology department is based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. They offer a leading service in the diagnosis and management of hearing problems to both adults and children. 

They provide services at community clinics at Bensham Hospital and Blaydon Primary Care Centre. These services include hearing assessments, advice and provision of hearing aids. Ongoing support and maintenance can be delivered at selected sites. They also provide support to the Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) team.

The service has extended opening hours from Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm.
