We propose the following:
- service restructure of the Development, Transport and Public Protection service
- increased income from planning consultancy and other Work
A combination of income generation activities, alternative funding strategies and reduction in staffing. More specifically this proposal would mean
- a reduction in the staffing establishment of this service
- charging for specialist consultancy advice to other organisations and to recharge professional advice to capital schemes
- reclaiming full cost of events
- maximisation of alternative funding sources
Proposed amount: £404,000.
