Fees and charges

The council's fees and charges booklet sets out the agreed charges for each service. An annual review of fees and charges is an integral part of the annual policy and service planning cycle and the anticipated income forms part of the council's base budget.

The updated booklet reflects amendments to fees and charges for business centres and the approval of Traffic Regulation Orders for car parking charges at Garden Street (Oakwellgate), Pipewellgate and Whickham Shopping Centre (East) car parks which were effective from Saturday 11 April 2026.
