Who we are and what we do  

Gateshead Music Service is part of Gateshead Council. We are based at The Music Hub, Chowdene Family Hub, Waverley Road, Gateshead, NE9 7TU and provide the following services:  

  • whole class school instrumental tuition  
  • school music curriculum support and CPD 
  • small group and individual music tuition 
  • out of school music clubs and ensembles 
  • one off musical events, concerts, and workshops 
  • music education advice, support and mentoring

What type of information is collected about you  

We collect personal information to understand your needs and provide services. Information may include:

  • administering payments and processing fees for our services

We hold personal information in secure electronic systems on Gateshead Council servers. Paper copies are stored securely within council premises.
