Pay for your food hygiene re-rating

We aim to provide you with your new rating at the time of visit. If we are unable to do so the officer will tell you when you can expect it.

If you are happy with your new rating tell the officer and they can arrange for the rating to go live as soon as possible.

Paying by cheque

Cheques should be made payable to Gateshead Council.

Write your address and 'food hygiene re-rating' on the back of the cheque so we know what the payment is for, and post it to:
