Care / Work presents recent Northumbria University graduate and North East artist Nayeema Ahmed, whose practice explores the intersections of gender, ethnicity and labour.

Drawing on her experience as a first-generation Briton of Bangladeshi heritage, Ahmed reflects on the quiet, often unseen forms of care that shape both home and working life. Her work examines how identity, value and recognition are negotiated within these essential but frequently overlooked spaces.
