Gateshead Virtual School

Gateshead Virtual School (GVS), is responsible for promoting the educational achievement, progess and outcomes of Gateshead's children in our care. This might be for those children who live in Gateshead or may live out of area.  

We are also responsible for promoting the educational achievement of those children who are previously looked after, in a kinship arrangement or who have a social worker. We provide information and advice to parents, educators, carers and social workers to help support the educational pathways of those children.
