Current applicants
Once you have submitted an application to become a travel care driver or passenger assistant your application will be reviewed by the Travel Care team. We will inform you of the outcome and will instruct you to pay for your identification badge and, if required, a disclosure barring service (DBS) check.
All applicants are required to pay a non-refundable £10 fee for an identification badge.
If you do not hold a valid portable enhanced DBS check you will be required to pay for a DBS check. This charge will change based on how your DBS application is verified, once we receive your application we will confirm what you will need to pay.

If you have made an application to become a travel care driver or a passenger assistant and have been instructed to make a payment by the Travel Care Team then you may proceed below.

Once we have received your payment we will process your application. If you do not hold a valid portable enhanced DBS check then it can take between two to three weeks for your DBS check to be completed. The certificate will be posted to you. Once you receive the certificate you must contact us to arrange an appointment so that we can verify your certificate.
