Toddler Time

Toddler Time provides an opportunity for parents/carers to spend quality time with their toddlers. The sessions include songs, stories, rhymes, crafts and messy play. Activities delivered across the term help to support children's physical, social and emotional development as well as communication and language skills. Suitable from walking. No booking required.

Tuesday

Baby Time

Baby Time is a welcoming and supportive activity where parents and their babies can come together to play, learn and connect.  A typical Baby Time session includes:

* Free play with age-appropriate toys and sensory materials
* Songs and rhymes to support language and emotional development
* Story time and interactive activities
* Opportunities for social interaction with other babies and parents
* Comfortable, safe environment with soft mats and seating

Professionals are on hand to offer advice, answer questions, and provide guidance on topics like sleep, feeding, development, and emotional well-being.

Booking is essential.

Unity & The Community Activity Group

Held in the downstairs open space at Leam Lane Family Hub, come along and join us for various fun weekly activities.  Everyone welcome.

Sensory rooms are specially designed spaces that provides a range of stimulating and calming sensory experiences through lights, sounds, textures and interactive elements.  These rooms are particularly beneficial for babies and their parents, offering a nurturing environment that supports early development and emotional bonding.  Booking is essential.

Unity & The Community Music Group

Come along and join our free weekly music group, everyone welcome.  Facilitated by Embells, Age UK and Gateshead Family Hubs.

Family Voice Stay and Play with Tea and Toast Drop In

As a community what better way to come together than over the breaking of bread.  Have a cuppa, a bit of breakfast and a chat.

Sensory Babies

Sensory Babies is a nurturing space for babies and their caregivers to explore, bond and grow through sensory play.  Each session includes gentle music, soft textures, lights, scents and interactive play to stimulate babies' senses and encourage early learning.

Whether you're a new parent or looking to try something new with your baby, our Sensory Babies Group is a beautiful way to spend quality time together while supporting your baby's growth.  booking is essential, spaces are limited.

Feel Good Friday

Feel good Friday is a drop in session for parents of all ages, an opportunity to reflect on how your week has been, take a little time out for yourself before the weekend begins.
