Safeguarding adults training
We provide training to increase knowledge and understanding of adult protection issues, enhance awareness and understanding of Gateshead's Safeguarding Adults Procedures and to clarify roles and responsibilities when reporting concerns.
Our training is suitable for practitioners and volunteers who come into contact with adults with care and support needs. The training will enable participants to:
- Be clear about the definition of abuse
- Be able to identify the different categories of abuse
- Be alert to signs and indicators of abuse
- Be clear about your role and responsibilities when reporting concerns
