Local historian and writer Val Scully will give an illustrated talk to present her new book, The Wheel of Time, about the square mile between Blaydon Burn, Stella Hall and the Black Bull on Bridge Street
-an area astonishingly packed with rich and fascinating history. By combing a wealth of printed resources, postcards, paintings, personal reminiscences and family photographs, Val has woven the history of this special place into a richly illustrated narrative centred on Path Head. The book will be available at a special event price - all proceeds go to Macmillan Cancer Support.
