New website for Lamesley residents

Lamesley Parish Council has launched its own website to help keep its 3,000+ local residents informed.

The website features local news, parish notices, details of upcoming events and contact details for a wide variety of local organisations.

Contact details for the council's elected representatives are also included along with an archive of council agendas and minutes since 2017.

The website also contains pages devoted to the history of places within the Lamesley Parish area including the Ravensworth Estate, Ladypark, Kibblesworth and the area's colleries.

Lamesley Parish Council is one of around 9,000 parish and town councils in England. It covers the areas of Kibblesworth, Lamesley village, Eighton Banks and Northside, Birtley. It is the only remaining parish council in Gateshead.
