Gateshead LSCB aims to host a forum event for professionals every year. In 2009 this event focussed on Safeguarding in BME Communities. Unfortunately there has been no event in 2010 but it is hoped that an event will be held early in 2011.
The 2010/11 Annual Forum is currently being planned and it is envisaged that the event will focus on the Signs of Safety model of practice which is endorsed by the LSCB and being used across multi-agency work in safeguarding.
