The council provides a free reference library facility for help with general information enquiries or more specialist business, government or European enquiries. Based at the Central Library, there is also an extensive local and family history collection, with support on hand to help you use our resources.
The Sound Gallery is the largest audio visual library in the borough, lending a wide range of CDs and DVDs. CDs are also available for loan from a number of other libraries, and childrens DVDs from Leam Lane Library.
The Council also provides free computer access from all its libraries, including free access to high speed internet connections, to Word, Access and Excel programmes, and to scanners with photo editing packages.
