Bill Quay Local Food Connection

An exciting new local food project, funded by the Big Lottery, has been launched at Bill Quay Community Farm.

The aim of the Bill Quay Local Food Connection is to enable people to enjoy, taste, buy, cook and experience local food.

CabbageTo achieve this, new facilities have been created at the Farm including Café and Shop. There will be a programme of seasonal events, related to farming and growing, environmental issues and healthy eating, along with training initiatives linked to volunteering and skills building.

For more information about the project contact Bill Quay Community Farm  email  billquayfarm@gateshead.gov.uk|
