Calling all Community/Voluntary Groups or Social Enterprises in Gateshead whose services and activities benefit local people. The council is offering the opportunity to boost your service with the help of a grant – the closing date to get your grant applications to us is 16 January 2009.
Grants are open to all community groups, although priority is given to those working towards key council priorities such as promoting healthy lifestyles, working with younger/older people, arts and cultural organisations, social support and care, economic development or sports and leisure.
Through its policies, the council wants to make a real difference to the lives of people in Gateshead. By applying for a grant, you too are playing your part in making a difference - for yourself and your community.
