In Gateshead we have brought together a number of services into area based arrangements.
The overall aim is to improve outcomes for children, young people and their families by providing better joined up services.
This structural change in how services are organised will help us further develop a children and young people’s workforce that shares a purpose and vision, understands each others role, talks to each other using a common language and works together to deliver better outcomes.
Area teams are established in each of the 5 neighbourhood areas:
