Who is this for?

Managers and practitioners working in services or organisations supporting children, young people and their families.

Objectives

• To understand what is meant by child abuse and neglect
• To recognise common signs that a child may be being neglected or abused
• To understand the local interagency child protection arrangements
• To know how to act if there are concerns about a child’s care and safety
