In certain circumstances, the Council has powers to remove abandoned vehicles. However, vehicles can only be removed and disposed of after the Council has followed a required legal procedure.
The Council will investigate all reports of abandoned vehicles where appropriate and arrange for removal and disposal.

Once a vehicle has been moved and compounded, The council will charge the owner of the vehicle before the vehicle is released.
