The blue badge scheme is designed to make parking easier for people with disabilities. Blue badge holders must therefore be present on the journey.
Blue badge holders have exclusive use of designated disabled bays.
Valid blue badges must be displayed on the dashboard or windscreen of the vehicle and the expiry date of the badge must be visible.
Parking in Council operated car parks is free of charge and for unlimited time.
