Children’s Computer Generated Poster
Gateshead Summer Flower Show
This information should help you design your computer generated poster celebrating 20 years of partnership between Gateshead and Komatsu City.
The links between both cities began in 1987 when the Japanese excavating company, Komatsu, opened a factory in Birtley. Then in 1991, both cities formed an official Town Twinning agreement
A number of activities have taken place over the years including the introduction of a youth exchange programme, the Japan Festival tapestry in 1991, Tile mural in 1994, and the creation of friendship gardens in both cities.
