British Citizenship Ceremonies

In January 2004 the Government introduced Citizenship Ceremonies for people who have been granted naturalisation.

The first ceremony in Gateshead took place on 29th July 2004

Applicants are required by law to attend a ceremony in order to be granted Citizenship. Ceremonies take place every three months in this district.
