The Council and its partner organisations, such as Northumbria Police and NHS South of Tyne, want to continue to provide the highest possible standards of services to you and your neighbourhood, in a way that makes every effort to meet your local priorities and needs.
In five areas in Gateshead we are running a pilot to develop Neighbourhood Plans which will set out the key issues and challenges for that neighbourhood.
The five areas taking part in the pilot are;
-
Bensham and Saltwell
-
Windy Nook and Staneway
-
Highfield
-
Dunston West and Ravensworth Road
-
Elisabethville and Birtley East
Information provided by local residents is a valuable part of this process, if you live in one of these areas you can get involved by filling in the survey on the right.
The information you provide in the survey will be combined with the views of your ward councillors and service providers to produce a Neighbourhood Plan for your local area, that will set out the key issues and challenges, and a set of actions and targets that will be put in place to meet them.
Once you have completed your survey please email it back to neighbourhoodmanagement@gateshead.gov.uk|
If you would like any further information about the neighbourhood plan process, or would like to find out how to get more involved in helping shape your local services, please get in touch with the Neighbourhood Management Team on 0191 4332608 or email neighbourhoodmanagement@gateshead.gov.uk|
