East Area Forum

Overview

Councillor Malcolm Graham| chairs the Area Forum for East Gateshead which covers the following wards:

  • Felling
  • Pelaw and Heworth
  • Wardley and Leam Lane
  • Windy Nook and Whitehills.

This is one of five Area forums across the borough.

These Forums

  • bring together representatives of the Council and its partners including the health service, the police, the Gateshead Housing Company, the voluntary sector, schools and other local organisations to coordinate, improve and monitor local services, solve local problems and help local people to influence the things that happen in their neighbourhood.
  • meet every six weeks in a venue within the area and are open to the public.
