These ceremonies give married couples the opportunities to renew their marriage vows and to celebrate their married years together. Ceremonies are secular and do not contain religious references. The ceremony has no legal status and they are not restricted to the couples area of residence.
Gateshead Council does not offer marriage renewal ceremonies but you may wish to contact other Local Authorities in the area to see if they provide such a service.
