Approval of Premises as a Venue for Marriage and Civil Partnership Formations
Marriage and Civil Partnership formations can take place in premises approved by the Local Authority.
Approved premises must be regularly available for use by the public. They must not be religious premises.
An application for approval may be made using the guidance notes and application form below.

Please contact the Superintendent Registrar at Gateshead Register Office if you wish to hold a marriage or civil partnerships at any of these venues.
It is your responsibility to make arrangements with both the hotel and the Superintendent to secure an appointment. We would recommend that you view the venues before making the appointment to give notice.
