The Register Office can now also conduct a Nationality Checking Service which can lead to British Citizenship. It also offers a free 'Tell us Once' service which can help you give information to a number of Government departments, Council services and others when you are registering a birth or a death.
There is also information available about Naming Ceremonies and Renewal of Vows.
The Register Office is situated in central Gateshead in the Civic Centre, five minutes walk from Gateshead Metro station and Gateshead Bus Station.
