GVOC run Volunteer Center Gateshead Monday to Friday from 8.45am to 4.45pm. Volunteer Centre Gateshead is part of a national network of organisations that are working to encourage people from all sections of the community to get involved in volunteering.
There is a great deal of current activity and interest in volunteering, but those taking part are not always recognised for their contribution to making stronger communities.
