You’ll get as much out of volunteering as you put in. Whatever your age, ability or background, giving whatever time you can, will make a difference to everyone’s life – including your own!
John Parach
“Volunteering can be hard work, but it’s great fun. I love the countryside. I work in the theatre so there is such a refreshing contrast to what I usually do. I’m learning new practical skills all the time.”
John is a volunteer with Gateshead Countryside Volunteers. He makes a big difference, making the countryside more accessible and more enjoyable for everyone.
