Neighbourhood Wardens Service

Gateshead Council’s Neighbourhood Warden Service provides a key role in helping to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour. This is achieved by utilising the integrated services to deliver a highly visible uniformed presence within the community to achieve and improve the quality of life for those who live, visit or travel through the borough. The service works closely with Northumbria Police, The Gateshead Housing Company, NEXUS and other partners to deliver a quality and professional service.
