FlowRider®

Have you tried our new FlowRider® yet? You can experience the thrill of catching and riding a wave on the North East’s only indoor surfing and body boarding FlowRider®! 

All sessions last one hour and involve up to 8 riders at a time. Your first booking will include a safety session and shorts and a t-shirt must be worn over your swim suit at all times when using the FlowRider®. Minimum height for body boarding is 3ft 6in/107cm, minimum height for surfing is 4ft 4in/132cm.

Fluid Yoga

Fluid Yoga (Only available at Blaydon Leisure Centre) classes are based on progressive sequences of yoga postures, which means they are suitable for any level of experience. Complete beginners can simply do as much as their ability and condition allow, and there are plenty of opportunities for experienced yoga practitioners to try more challenging poses. Each class will conclude with a short Pranayama (breathing exercises) & Meditation session to ensure you get the full mental and emotional benefits of a traditional yoga practice. You will quickly see improvements in strength, flexibility and focus with this safe and effective style of yoga.
