Celebrate the importance of play at National Play Day 2012
Playday is the annual celebration of children's right to play. A national campaign supported by Play England to promote play for children and young people.
The campaign recognises the benefits of being part of a community that embraces chioldren's play and we try to encourage this with the different communities and organisations within Gateshead.
There will be a variety of activities on offer for the children and young people including: Water Slide, Go-Karts, Birds of Prey, Space Hoppers, Art and Craft, Dance, Obstacle Football, Face Painting, Bowling and many more exciting games.
Wednesday 1st August 2012: Activites start at 10am and run until 3pm.
Why not bring a picnic so you can enjoy a full day of fun?
