Carter's Well in Low Fell was caught on camera by George Jack. The well was the area's main water source until the 19th Century. Many thanks to George for this picture of a piece of local history.
In the Frame!
If you want to see your picture on the website or 'in the frame' in Council News, get out your camera and start snapping. This could be a special event, a school activity or community festival. It might even be your favourite place or building - as long as it's in Gateshead and is a record of Gateshead life.
