Walking is a fantastic way to increase your activity levels and regular exercise is known to reduce the risk of stroke, heart disease, diabetes and some forms of cancer. As well as the health benefits walking is free and you don’t need any specialist equipment to do it!

Every step counts. It doesn't matter if you walk half a mile or 10, join in one of our group walks with a trained leader, or pick one of our DIY walks:
