Purchasing Tickets

Tickets purchased by telephone with less than three days to the event, an order number will be given to the customer which, when quoted at the event booking office on event night, will permit access. Customers should arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the performance. However confirmation of the order / receipt of purchase will still be posted to the customer.

In Person – In advance of the Event

At the Box Office within Old Town Hall, West Street, Gateshead. Payment may be made by cash, cheque or credit/debit card. Cheques should be made payable to ‘Gateshead Council’.

In Person – On the date of the Event

Customers can purchase tickets from the Event Box Office (various venues) at the time of the event.  Payment may be made by cash, cheque or credit/debit card. Cheques should be made payable to ‘Gateshead Council’. Tickets will be limited.

Concessions Tickets

Concessionary Tickets are available to persons aged 60 and over, 16 and under, students in full-time education and persons in receipt of any benefits.

If a customer requires the support of a Carer to enable them to attend the event, the Carer is entitled to a ticket free of charge.

Access into the Old Town Hall

There is a disabled entrance into the Old Town Hall and there is also a lift to the first floor.

Café

Open weekdays from 10.00am to 4.00pm. However the Café will also be open during events held in the Main Hall.

Getting to the Old Town Hall

To get to the Old Town Hall, you can use the Metro alighting at Gateshead station. If travelling by bus, the nearest stop is Gateshead Interchange

Leaving the Interchange, turn left in the direction of Newcastle and the Old Town Hall is 3 minutes walk down West Street, situated next to Lloyds TSB bank

There is a pay and display car park at the Old Town Hall. Disabled parking is free on display of a blue badge.
