About the clip
This film by Digital Voice for Communities gave children aged between 11 and 18 the chance to let their imaginations run riot. They become the inspiration for the film telling the story of where the Angel of the North travels to when no one is watching, as it takes a break from it's prominent position overlooking the main transport routes into Gateshead.
Ideas on where it flies to when nobody is looking came from around 50 children from various youth groups and a Gateshead school who have been inspired by the 65ft tall sculpture. The part animated film was produced by Digital Voice for Communities with the award winning Dene Films.
