On 14 February we made sure that the Angel shared its special day with some very special 'Little Angels'.
We invited 50 children from across the North East who were born on 14 February 1998 (the same day as the Angel of the North arrived at its new home) to come and celebrate their tenth birthday together.
The children were transported to the Angel of the North thanks to Go-North East who appropriately provided an Angel bus in its distinctive pink Angel of the North livery. The children were also provided with an Angel themed goody bag which included a ginger bread Angel of the North courtesy of The Bakery Sandwich Deli in Whickham!
