The Hall of the Mountain King

Saturday 17th-Saturday 24th December 2011, 2 shows per day, 11am & 1:30pm. You can view the Mountain King's Hall outside of shows during normal opening hours 10am-4pm.

Inspired by the tale of Per Gynt, an installation for the Winter Festival to delight visitors, with two shows each day. A magical installation designed by Verity Quinn will transform the Heritage Centre into a Troll Lord's Hall, where you can explore dark corners and mysterious treasures! There will be ticketed shows each day when the gravelly tones of David Napthine and delicate musicality of Janet Bennett will tell the traditional Nordic folk tale of Per Gynt.
