The Gateshead Summer Flower Show is back, with its riot of colour and celebration of all things horticultural it’s the ideal destination for the whole family. This three day event, now in its 23rd year includes live music and plenty of free children’s activities too face painting and bouncy castles. There's speciality food stalls, a craft fair, demonstrations and much more for the rest of the family.
With over 360 classes to enter there’s something for everyone, including vegetable classes, photography, children’s handicrafts, wine and beer classes and many more. The full show schedule is available below where you can also enter any of the classes.
There’s a free park and ride too, leaving every 15 minutes from Gateshead Civic Centre (excluding Friday) and Gateshead MetroCentre Coach Park.
Tickets cost £8 for adults, £6 for concessions, with under 18 years free when accompanied by an adult.
