Gateshead Summer Flower Show
Gateshead will be in bloom once again this year as the borough hosts one of the most popular events in the North East, the Gateshead Summer Flower Show.
The show will take place on Friday 1, Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 August 2008 at Gateshead Central Nursery, Whickham Highway, between 10am - 5.30pm everyday.
There will be plenty to see and do over the 3 days, including fantastic displays, floral art, a huge craft fair, demonstrations, a continental market, speciality foods, live entertainment, lots of children's activities, a fairy glen and much more! There's even a FREE park & ride to get you to and from the show!
The fourth largest horticultural event in the country, the show will feature displays of hundreds of plants, flowers and shrubs housed in 300,000 square feet of marquee space.
