Nobody's Watching - Jo Fairfax (2007)

Nobodys Watching|
Nobody's Watching

From Thursday 26 July seven dancing men are set to bring The Sage Gateshead's car park to life with the unveiling of a new film from artist Jo Fairfax called 'Nobody's Watching'.

International artist Jo has created this very distinctive piece of animated artwork, featuring seven local men adopting an assortment of outfits, humorous dance moves and poses.

Gateshead residents Dennis Hewitt, Brian Dunn, Fred Fowler, Paul Davidson, Donald Mackay, Richard Bathan and Richard Cave, responded to an advert in our resident magazine Council News to star in the film.

The animated art piece will be projected onto a window on the first floor of The Sage Gateshead car park viewable at night from 10 pm- 2am.

The work has been installed especially to coincide with the 2007 Summer Tyne Festival, where events and activities will be taking place around the quayside area.

Funded through the Single Regeneration Budget.
