Gatesheads Tenants and Residents Participation Compact - Involved in Gateshead
In March 2000, the Gateshead tenants and residents’ participation compact “Involved in Gateshead” was established.
In 2004 a major revision to the compact took place, partly due to the separation of the strategic and operational housing functions between the Council and the then newly created The Gateshead Housing Company.
It was agreed that the compact would be reviewed annually to reflect the changes and priorties of for tenant and resident participation in Gateshead.
The 2005 version of “Involved in Gateshead” fits within the overall consultation and involvement framework of the Council and it’s partners, and it supported by the boroughwide Tenant and Resident Involvement Strategy.
