The Private Rented Sector Team is committed to working with, and assisting landlords in managing their properties in an effective and responsible manner, in line with all relevant housing legislation and associated guidance that affects their business.
Our aims are to:

assist landlords in selecting good, responsible tenants

provide advice, support and information to landlords
The Private Rented Sector team has established a strong partnership with the Gateshead Private Landlords Association (GPLA), and works closely with landlords. The team is also working alongside other key partners within the community such as The Police, The Gateshead Housing Company and the Neighbourhood Warden Service to secure improvements in the local environment and community as a whole.
