Your Right to Request a Review of your Homeless Application

If you disagree with the outcome of your homeless application you have the right to request a review of the decision made.  The review must be made within 21 days of receiving your homeless decision outcome.  When requesting a review this must be in writing.  You should state your grounds for requesting a review and provide any new information which my may have to assist your request for a review.

Your review request will be considered by a panel of elected members.  You will be notified of the decision in writing with full reasons for the decision reached within 21 days from submitting your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the review outcome you may make a further appeal to the County Court.  This must be brought within 21 days from the date you received your review outcome decision.
