This document sets out the main problems currently facing homeless clients in Gateshead. As part of the Council’s Supporting People Strategy key areas of need have already been identified. This “needs mapping” exercise has been supplemented during the Review by consulting directly with service users and providers to identify additional unmet need.
Collectively the data collected identifies several areas where the Council could improve and extend its current services to vulnerable groups in Gateshead.
