Rent and Mortgage Arrears
If you have arrears of mortgage or rent it is important that you contact us urgently as these arrears are classed as a priority debt which means you could lose your home if you simply ingore them. We can advise you on how to prevent losing your home by negotiating with the lender or landlord on your behalf and negotiate affordable payments of the arrears. We can support you, if it is neccessary, to go to court to defend possession proceedings. If we are unable to prevent you losing your home we can apply to the court for time to allow you to make alternative arrangements.
