Housing Business Plan 2004-2008
The Council’s Business Plan shows how the Council, as a landlord, will contribute to achieving the priorities of the Housing Strategy 2003-2008. This Business Plan updates and improves on the 2002 Business Plan. It highlights achievements since then and identifies a robust action plan, which will contribute to the vision for housing in Gateshead.

The responsibility for delivering the Housing Business Plan is split between the Council and The Gateshead Housing Company. The Gateshead Housing Company’s Annual Delivery Plan sets out how it will contribute to the Council’s vision for housing in Gateshead.
There are many challenges ahead, and improving the Councils housing stock is central to improving the quality of life of local people.
