Adoption in Gateshead

A family at homeIf you are thinking about adoption but not sure where to start, you have come to the right place. We are looking for people who can adopt children who cannot be brought up within their own family.

Children of every age and background need families. Some are babies and toddlers and many are of primary school age. Some children have special needs like health problems, physical disabilities or learning difficulties. There are also brothers and sisters who want to live together and children who are looking for parents to reflect their own cultural background. Some children waiting have problems as a result of their early life experiences. What they all have in common is the need for that unique family who can give them the love, support and encouragement they need to grow and flourish.

In Gateshead we believe that every child is entitled to a permanent, loving family throughout their childhood. If you are considering adoption, you can be sure that our dedicated team will provide you with all the support you need every step of the way.

We welcome applications from people aged over 21 who live within a fifty mile radius of Gateshead. We consider all enquiries regardless of gender, ethnic origin, class, culture or sexuality. You can be working or not, single, married or in a partnership.

So if you are thinking about adoption, but not sure where to start...start your journey with us.
